Home Health Equipment Loan Program
Our Home Health Equipment Loan/Return Program is open Fridays 8:30a.m – 3p.m. Wearing a mask is required. When you ring the doorbell someone will meet you at the door to ask what equipment you need or to collect returned items. There will be no entry and paperwork will be signed at the door. Practice safe distance policies if others are in line.
If you are picking up equipment for someone not residing in your home the Home Health Equipment Loan Program Signature Authorization Form (click here) needs to be printed, signed and brought to the shop. Also, please read the Release of Liability Agreement (Click here) which needs to be signed when picking up equipment.
Established in 1948 by Soroptimist International of Anacortes and managed by the club’s Home Health Committee, this program is available to anyone living in the 98221 zip code. The equipment is loaned free of charge and can be borrowed for any length of time. It is not available to care facility residents.
At present we have over 1300 items for loan including wheelchairs, walkers, knee walkers, toilet seat risers, shower chairs, commodes, canes, crutches and more. The doors are located at the SE corner of the building, accessed by the alley.
