Soroptimist International of Anacortes (SIA) formed a partnership in 2026 with the Anacortes Schools Foundation (ASF) to award ALL our 4-year college and university scholarships. The scholarship application process, decision making and payments are facilitated through the ASF, and applicants must meet the requirements and deadlines established each year by the Foundation.

Our Scholarship Program reflects our commitment to education and what is best for women and girls. Our goal is to promote the education of a wide range of worthy students in our community. While our focus is on women, some scholarships are open to all applicants.

Each scholarship has specific REQUIREMENTS. For example: educational status; graduating high school senior, continuing or graduate student; residency (98221 zip); academic achievement; and financial need (FAFSA).

College and university scholarships are for one (1) year and fund various fields of study and include business, education, health, music, arts, math, science, engineering, marine or environmental studies, and community focused physical or mental health studies.
